Students will explore five different colouring mediums on a variety of surfaces, fabrics and papers.
The techniques explored are
Oil Sticks
Freezer paper stencils
Rubbing plates – found objects
Creating ‘leather’ paper
Inks & Wax Crayons
Colouring a design of your choice
Marbling
Texturizing
Grating
Transfer Paints (Polyester)
Creating a design with colour on a
variety of fabrics
Watercolour Pencils and Ink Bars
Colouring a design of your choice
Pallet mix
Mix on fabric
Workshop Options
Two Day Workshop
Day one: Students will start with the basic understanding of the products and their tools. Day one will focus on oil sticks and inks with wax crayons.
Day two: Students will finish exploring the techniques from day one, and then learn about watercolour pencils and/or ink bars, and transfer paints.
